Funeral services for Sister Mary Fabia Wojtach will be held at the Felician Sisters Infirmary Chapel, Our Lady of Lourdes Hall, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday morning, June 3, 2010. Following the Mass of Christian Burial, Sister will be laid to rest in the Felician Sisters Cemetery in Lodi.

Sister Mary Fabia died on May 30, 2010 in Hackensack, New Jersey. She was 80 years old and had been a Felician Sister for 62 years. A wake service will be held at the same location on Wednesday evening, June 2 at 6:00 p.m. The former Helen Wojtach, Sister Mary Fabia was born in Bayonne, New Jersey in 1929. She entered the postulancy of the Felician Sisters in Lodi, New Jersey in 1947, and received the Felician habit in 1948. She made first religious vows in 1949 and professed final vows in 1955.

Involved in the educational ministry as well as the healthcare ministry, Sister Mary Fabia earned a B.S. degree in elementary education at Seton Hall University and a M.A. in Speech Pathology also from Seton Hall University. Sister Mary Fabia is survived by several members of her extended family, most of whom live in New Jersey.
