Sister Mary Consolata, Funeral services for Sister Mary Consolata Liszewski will be held at the Felician Sisters Infirmary Chapel, Our Lady of Lourdes Hall, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, September 18, 2010. Following the Mass of Christian Burial, Sister will be laid to rest in the Felician Sisters Cemetery in Lodi. Sister Mary Consolata died on September 15, 2010 in Lodi, New Jersey. She was 90 years old and had been a Felician Sister for 72 years. A wake service will be held at the same location on Friday evening, September 17 at 6:00 p.m.

The former Anne Liszewski, Sister Mary Consolata was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1920. She entered the postulancy of the Felician Sisters in Lodi, New Jersey in 1938, and received the Felician habit in 1939. She made first religious vows in 1940 and professed final vows in 1946. Thoroughly committed to the education ministry, Sister Consolata taught in elementary schools in the Archdioceses of Baltimore, Philadelphia and Newark as well as in the Dioceses of Wilmington, Camden, Metuchen and Allentown. Sister Mary Consolata is survived by her religious community and members of her extended family, most of whom live in the State of Maryland.
