Funeral services for Sister Mary Carmeline Kowalski will be held at the Felician Sisters' Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel, Lodi, at 11 AM on Thursday, August 17, 2017. Sister Mary Carmeline died on August 13, 2017, in Lodi, s he was 96 years old and had been a Felician Sister for 69 years.

The former Veronica Kowalski, Sister Mary Carmeline entered the Felician Sisters in 1948. She taught in elementary schools staffed by the Felician Sisters in New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware. From 1972 until 1999 she was the curriculum librarian at the Felician College Library, Lodi Campus. From 1999 until 2002 she was the Director of the Curriculum Library on the Rutherford Campus, having directed its transfer from the Lodi campus. From 2002 until 2016 she was in charge of the Felician Sisters' spiritual library in Lodi.

Sister Mary Carmeline Kowalski is survived by her sister Marie Roche of Manchester, NJ, her brother Anthony Kowalski of Catonsville, M D, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Irene Kowalski and Jean Wozniak; her brother Thomas Kowalski, and her niece Terry Sincavage. She is also mourned by the members of her Felician Community and her professional colleagues.
