Sister Mary  Alphonse died on September 5, 2021, in  Lodi, New Jersey.  She was 89 years old and had been a Felician Sister for 72 years.

The former Constance Veronica Stachowski, Sister Mary Alphonse  was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1931.   She entered the postulancy of the Felician Sisters in Lodi, New Jersey in 1948; received the Felician habit in 1949; professed her first vows in 1950 and final vows in 1956.  Her ministries as a Felician Sister included teaching, principalship, archival aide.
