Sharon (Kida) Brody, 71, of Clifton, NJ passed away on November 18, 2021. Born in Passaic, Sharon has been a resident of Clifton for 41 years. She was a passionate teacher of elementary education for Passaic Schools #10 and #5 for 35 years before retiring in 2006. She was a member of the NJ Education Association, the NJ Retired Educators Association and the Passaic County Retired Educators Association. Beyond her years as a teacher, she was an advocate for the performing arts, volunteered her time as a band parent for 8 consecutive years with the Clifton Mustang Band, and was also a proud baseball Mom with the Clifton Midget League. She loved collecting stories, documenting and researching family history on both sides going back hundreds of years.

Beloved wife for 41 years of Stuart Brody. Devoted mother of Matthew and his wife Julia of Wayne, NJ and Benjamin and his wife Yety Akinola-Brody of Brooklyn, NY. Cherished grandmother of Matthew and Julia's children, Lillian and Jacob. Dear sister of Thomas Kida and his wife Dorothy and Bonnie Kida. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Sunday 2-6PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Monday 11AM at the funeral home with a prayer service beginning at 12PM. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
