Sestella "Mayda" Ferreira, 46, of Bloomfield passed away on November 11, 2019. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, she came to the US in 2000 and lived in West Orange before settling in Bloomfield 10 years ago. Mayda was the owner and operator of Montevideo Café, Nutley.

Beloved wife of William Lago. Devoted mother of Fabrizio Lopez of Bloomfield. Loving sister of Fernando, Silvia, Adriana, Marie Jose and Alejandro.

Visiting Thursday 6 – 8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. Cremation private.
