Salvatore Walter Somma, 89, formerly of Clifton, passed away on June 4, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, Salvatore was a Navy Veteran of WWII. A parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, Passaic, Salvatore was a Truck Driver for Teamster's Local 560, Boonton, for 35 years, retiring many years ago. Beloved husband for 62 years of the late Angela "Lee" (Natoli) Somma. Devoted father of the late Salvatore M. Somma and his late wife Mona (Hill). Dear brother of the late Angela Scalise and her late husband Joe. He is survived by 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visiting Monday 6-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, Prayer Service at 7:45 PM. Cremation will be private.
