Sadie (Jakubiak) Mondelli, 96, of Clifton, passed away on May 11, 2016, with family by her side. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Paterson before moving to Clifton in 2003.
A parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic, Sadie was an Account Receivable Clerk for Hillcrest Dye Works Co., Paterson for 10 years, retiring in 1975.
Devoted wife of the late John, who passed away in 1995. Beloved mother of Sandra Deas and her husband Edward of FL. Devoted sister of Wanda Walis of Passaic, Loving grandmother of Doreen Casagrande and her husband Francis, and Dr. Jacklyn Deas and her husband Raphael Oropesa. Cherished great grandmother of Adriana and Frank Casagrande, Olivia and Nicholas Oropesa-Deas. Dear aunt of Sandra Brzek, Cynthia Walis, Theresa McKenze and her husband Christopher and their children Jessica and Ashlyn, and Robert Walis.
Funeral Monday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic. Interment, Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Fair Lawn. Visiting Sunday 2-5 PM at the funeral home.
