Ryszard Stroz, 64, of Clifton passed away on July 11, 2013. Born in Slone, Poland, Ryszard came to the US in 1995 and first settled in New Britain, CT, before living in Garfield and then moving to Clifton 16 years ago. A Machinist for the past 15 years for Servometer in Cedar Grove, Ryszard was a true family man who also loved to work on his garden. Beloved husband for 39 years of Maria (Piechota). Devoted father of Dariusz Stroz and his wife Anna of Belleville, Anna Stroz and Marcin Stroz and his wife Kathrzyna, all of Clifton. Cherished grandfather of Klaudia, Monika, Christopher, Matthew and Jan. Dear brother of Bozena Wasilewski of Denmark, Piotr Stroz and Stanislaw Stroz, both of Poland. Funeral Tuesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Joseph RC Church, Passaic. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Monday 6-9 PM at the Funeral Home.
