Ruth Szekely's Obituary
Ruth (Gola) Szekely, 97, of Clifton, passed away on September 13, 2017. Born in Clifton, she was a lifelong resident.
An active member of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Ruth was a member of the Leisure Club, the Golden Circle, the Rosary and Altar Society, the Bread of Life Prayer Group, sang in the Bereavement Choir, and was a member of AARP Chapter #4192, Clifton.

Beloved wife for 62 years of the late Stephen who passed away in 2005. Devoted mother of Patricia Rose and her late husband Frank of Brick. Bernadette Sussina and her husband Victor of Clifton, and Maryann Irizarry and her husband Danny of Clifton. Loving grandmother of Victor Kenneth, Luke, Kurt, Franklin, Diane, and 6 great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Stanley, Joseph, Henry, Walter and Edward Gola, Mary Keskosky, Estelle Feczer, Rose Zabielski, and Florence Lisofski.
Funeral Saturday 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Friday 3-7 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. John Kanty RC Church, 49 Speer Ave., Clifton, NJ 07013, in memory of Ruth, would be greatly appreciated.
