Ruth J. (Lakefield) Potaki, 92, of Clifton, passed away on August 5, 2018. Born in Passaic, Ruth lived all of her life in Clifton. An LPN at Beth Israel Hospital, Passaic, for 12 years, retiring in 1985, Ruth had also worked at Passaic General Hospital for many years. A member of the Athenia Veterans Post Ladies' Auxiliary, Clifton, Ruth was named Outstanding Member in 2017.

Beloved wife of the late Matthew L. Potaki who passed away in 1997. Devoted mother of Thomas Wolff and his wife Lillian Genander of Vernon, and the late Daniel Sabel who passed away in 2013. Cherished grandmother of Daniel, Cynthia, Thomas, and Christine. Adored great-grandmother of Madison, Brandt, and Stoney.

Funeral Thursday 10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
