Ruth E. (Piatt) Grenci, 87, of Clifton passed away on Nov. 7, 2015. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was a resident of Clifton since 1946. Ruth, a homemaker, loved crocheting and knitting, was a member of the Athenia Veteran's Post Ladies Auxiliary and also served as a Den Leader for Cub Scout Pack #54 of Clifton for many years. Beloved wife of Joseph, Sr., for 65 years. Devoted mother of Charles "Chuck" and his wife Deborah of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Thomas and his wife Alexandra of Neshanic Station, Susan Davidson and her husband Russ of Paramus, and Joseph, Jr., and his wife Deborah of Florence, KY. Loving grandmother of Joanna Grenci and her husband TJ, Katherine Jones and her husband Sean, Francine and Victoria Grenci, Michelle and Matthew Davidson, and Katherine, Raechel and Adam Eliasen. Cherished great-grandmother of Willow Grenci. Funeral Service Tuesday 5 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Visiting Tuesday 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
