Ruth B. Coughlin, 71, of Little Falls, NJ, passed away on December 25, 2014. Born in Passaic, NJ, Ruth was raised in Clifton, NJ, and lived in Detroit, MI, before moving back to Clifton, and later Little Falls, NJ, in 1996. Ruth was a Book Editor for the Detroit News for many years and also worked as an Editor for various New York City publishers. A published author, Ruth's book, "Grieving: A Love Story", was published by Perennial in 1994. Devoted wife of the late William Coughlin. Dear sister of Michael J. Pollard of Los Angeles, CA. Cremation was private under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, Clifton, NJ.
