Rosemary Ann (Zavodsky) Lyons, 77, of Clifton passed away on April 5, 2011. Born in Passaic, she lived in the Clifton/Passaic area for all of her life.

Rosemary was a Registered Nurse at St. Marys Hospital, Passaic for 58 years before retiring in 2008, and later volunteered at Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge.

Beloved wife for 54 years of John Lyons Sr. Devoted mother of Thomas A. and his wife Mary Jo of Passaic, Anne Theresa who had been a registered nurse for 15 years at St. Marys Hospital and is now a supervisor of the Mountainside Hospital Emergency Room, John A. Jr. and his wife Mary Ann, Timothy Patrick one of Clifton's Finest and his wife Michele, and Carole Rose, all of Clifton.

Endearing grandmother of Margaret Alison a Senior at Hawaii Pacific University, Katherine Elizabeth a Senior at Monmouth College, Christopher Richard a Freshman at Montclair State University, John Jack Anthony III, Joseph Daniel , and Thomas John. Dear sister of the late Edith Ligus and her husband Thomas.

Funeral Saturday, 8:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9:45 AM at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Thursday 7-9 PM & Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
