Rose (Baskinger) Rohart, 97, of Clifton passed away, October 20, 2010. Born in New London, CT, she lived in Paterson before moving to Clifton in 1951.

A parishioner of Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, Little Falls, Rose was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit # 438, Paterson.

Rose worked for Van Raalte Co. in Paterson where she met her husband during WW II, and later worked for Pantasote in Passaic for 15 years, retiring in 1973.

Beloved daughter of the late George and Amelia Baskinger. Devoted wife for 41 years of the late Ovilla Rohart, who died in 1986. Loving mother of Alice R. Demikoff and her husband Wayne of Clifton, June Makoujy and her husband Joseph of Paterson, Renee Blackowsky and her late husband Daniel, of Clifton. Dear sister of Janet Monello of Hawthorne, and the late Mary, Alice, Harvey, Sam, Michael and Joseph Baskinger. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral Monday 10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
