Rose LaGala died peacefully on February 13, 2014, after a brief illness. Rose is the daughter of the late Antonio and Rosalie LaGala. Rose was born in Passaic and lived there all of her life. She was employed by Romano Lamp Shade Co until she retired in 1993, as a floor supervisor. Rose is survived by her caretakers, nephew Mel and his wife JoAnn LaGala and niece Theresa Tarda, and by several nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her sisters Mary Comperatore, Frances Marte, Josephine Giordano, Jennie, Lena and Doris LaGala, and her brothers Frank and Charles LaGala. Funeral Tuesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic. Interment, St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting Monday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
