Rose (Ippolito) Guariniello, 97, of Passaic passed away in her sleep on November 1, 2013. Born in Garfield, she lived most of her life in Passaic. A member of the First United Methodist Church, Passaic, Rose was a Caretaker of the church with her late husband Louis and worked in the Nursery School. An avid NY Yankees Fan, Rose attended at least one game a season for many years and always wore her Yankees Hat and Shirt when watching games on TV. Beloved wife of the late Louis who passed away in 1995. Devoted mother of Louis and his wife Marie of Bennington, VT, and Agnes Ruggiero and her husband Richard of Sparta. Loving grandmother of Denise, Darrell, Laurie, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral Wednesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 145 Paulison Ave., Passaic. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Tuesday 3-7 PM at the funeral home.
