Rose (DeRogatis) Chiara, 95, of Clifton, passed away on December 4, 2017. She was born and raised in Newark before settling in Clifton in 1950.

A parishioner of St. Andrew's Church, a member of the 39ers, and a member of the Alpha Beta Kappa sorority, Rose was a Customer Service Supervisor for Macy's in Newark for 40 years, before retiring in 1985.

Beloved wife of the late Arthur Chiara. Devoted mother of Linda Farawell and her husband Stephen of Clifton, and the late Arthur who passed away in 2002. Loving grandmother of Roseann, John IV, Michelle, and Danielle. Cherished great-grandmother of five. Dear sister of Neil DeRogatis of East Hanover and the late Felix DeRogatis.

Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation Private.
