Rose (Sloma) Brzuszek, 96, of Passaic passed away August 31, 2010. God looked at her and saw how tired and sick she was, and a cure was not to be. So He put his arms around her and whispered "Come home with me my child and rest".

Born in Poland, Rose came to the US in 1946 and settled in Passaic. A parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic, Rose was a seamstress for the Schwartz Handkerchief Co. in Passaic for 22 years, retiring in 1979, and enjoyed cooking and tending to her tomato plants.

Beloved wife of the late Michael who died in 1988. Devoted mother of Phyllis of Passaic. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters in Poland, Frank, John, Mary and Stella.

Funeral Friday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Holy Rosary RC Church, 6 Wall St., Passaic. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
