Rosalie Spataro's Obituary
Rosalie (Ippolito) Spataro, 87 of Frelinghuysen Twsp., passed away on August 9, 2016. Born and raised in Clifton, she lived there for over 60 years before moving to Frelinghuysen Twsp. 28 years ago.
A former parishioner of St. Brendan's RC Church, Clifton, Rosalie was an Inspector for Standard Packaging, Clifton, for 14 years, retiring in 1970.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph N. Spataro who passed away in 1995. Devoted mother of JoAnn Drum and her husband Brian of Frelinghuysen Twsp., and the late Patricia Garofalo who passed away in 2009. Loving grandmother of Josephine, Dina and her husband Derek, Russell, Angela, Brian and his wife Marcy, and Colleen. Cherished great grandmother of Gregory, Wyatt, Alivia, Madeline and Elliana. Dear sister of the late Tom Bellanca, Anthony Ippolito and Nellie Marella.
Funeral Saturday 7:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at St. Brendan's RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
If desired, donations made to a charity focused on cancer research, in memory of Rosalie, would be greatly appreciated.
