Rosalie "Rose" (Sinchak) Chowansky, 92, of Clifton, passed away on April 4, 2012. Born in Spangler, PA, she lived in Garfield before moving to Clifton in 1947. A parishioner of the Eastern Orthodox Church of the Holy Apostles, Saddle Brook, Rose was a Quality Control Inspector for Athenia Steel in Clifton for many years, retiring several years ago. Beloved wife for 50 years of the late John who passed away in 1997. Devoted mother of Sandra Heiselman and her late husband Ted of Clifton, and Aftan Chowansky and his wife Karen of Newtown, PA.
