Rosa (Carpentieri) DiGiovanni, 88, of Clifton, passed away on March 17, 2015. Born in Salerno, Italy, she came to the US in 1952 and settled in Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1987. A parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic, Rosa worked for Gramercy Mills in Passaic for many years retiring in 1988. Beloved wife of the late Anthony who passed away in 1977. Devoted mother of Leonora Barca and her husband Mario, Enza Portelli and her husband Emanuele, and Anthony DiGiovanni and his wife Kathy, all of Clifton. Loving grandmother of Daniela DeStefano, Silvana Stloz, Adriana Becker, Stefania Portelli, Anthony DiGiovanni, Jr., and Nicholas DiGiovanni. Cherished great grandmother of Julia, Jon Luca, Isabella, Ava and Antonia. Funeral Monday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
