Rosa Elvira Casariego, 98, of Paterson passed away on November 7, 2024. Born in Ferreñafe, Peru, she traveled to the US in 1970 and settled in Paterson.

Beloved wife of the late Francisco Casariego who passed away in 1987. Devoted mother of Victor Casariego and his companion Maria, Francisco Gustavo Casariego and his wife Ercilia and Miguel Casariego. Loving grandmother of Elizabeth, Ivonne Diana, Rose Caroline and Monica Casariego. Cherished great-grandmother of Jude Frances Chowdry. Dear sister of Teresa, Clara, Ida, Luz, Anita, Irma, and the late Jose, Olga, Valentin and Juan.

Visiting Tuesday, November 12, 2024, 5–8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 10 AM at St. Therese RC Church,  80 13th Ave, Paterson, kindly meet at the church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
