Rocco A. Volpe, 65 of Clifton passed away on September 9, 2020. He leaves his wife Linda E. Valerius Volpe of 42 years, his son Michael J. Volpe of Clifton, his daughter Rachel Ann Volpe Rotbaum of Nutley and his son in law Adam Rotbaum, four grandchildren Hailey JAde MArie Volpe Rotbaum, Aidan Brenden Rotbaum, Peyton Rose Rotbaum and Madison Jewel Volpe. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends, as well as his Police Partner, Ret. Sgt. John Jed.

Rocco was born and raised in Passaic, attending St. Anthony School and graduating from Passaic High School. Rocco attended the Sea Girt Police Academy and joined the Passaic Police Department after graduating in 1976. After retiring as a Sergeant in 2006, he worked part time in Tenafly for Alpex Wheel. Rocco attended the Wallington Presbyterian Church faithfully every Sunday and loved everyone in the congregation.
Rocco's greatest joy was every moment spent with his family, from BBQ's to just being together, he also loved fishing and doing yard work.

Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. A prayer service will be held during the visitation. Cremation will be private.

(Face Masks  MUST BE WORN while in the funeral home. Please practice Social Distancing. No more than 50 family members and friends will be allowed in the funeral home at any given time. Please be mindful of this restriction to allow others to visit and pay respects to the family)
