Robinson Velez, 69, of Paterson, passed away on December 19, 2017. Born in Bogota, Colombia, he came to the US in 1980 and settled in Paterson.
A former parishioner of St. Francis de Sales RC Church, Lodi, Papi worked for Marcal in Elmwood Park and FastPark in Secaucus for many years and was a member of Colombianos En Accion, Paterson.

Beloved husband for 42 years of Flormaria (Camargo). Devoted father of Leyza Marcela Knapp and her husband David, Andrea Castro and her husband Paul, Johana Paez and her husband Mauricio, and Marion Velez. Dear brother of Francisco, Mario, Manolo, Gloria, Francia, Amanda, Angela and Aidee. Loving grandfather of Matthew Robinson, Paul, Olivia, Leyna Grace, Giselle, Gabriella, Leyah Mae and Valentina.
Funeral Wednesday, December 27, 2017, 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11:30 AM at St. Joseph's RC Church, 115 East Ft. Lee Rd., Bogota. Cremation, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Tuesday, December 26, 2017, 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
