Robert Takesh, 78, of Clifton, passed away on January 28, 2012. Born in Passaic, he lived in Nutley, Passaic and Clifton, all of his life. Robert served for 9 years in the Naval Reserves during the Korean War. Robert retired in 1996 as Assistant Operations Manager, after 35 years, from Swepco Tube Corp. in Clifton. Robert was Past President of the Tri-County Camera Club, Past President of the NJ Federation of Camera Clubs, Member of the National Rifle Association, Member of the Association of the NJ Rifle & Pistol Clubs, and was an avid Yankees and Giants Fan. Beloved husband for 45 years of Marilyn (Swakopf). Devoted father of Gregory and his wife Juliette of Stockholm, NJ, Debra Kramer and her husband Richard of Petersburg, NJ, and Steven and his wife Marie of Montville. Loving grandfather of 11. Funeral Thursday 11 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
