Robert T. Perkowski, 89, of Clifton, passed away on December 20, 2023. Born in Mckeesport, PA, he lived in Lock Haven, PA, before moving to Clifton many years ago.

A parishioner of Transfiguration of Our Lord PNC Church, Wallington, Bob was a High School Teacher for the Passaic Board of Education for 50 years, retiring in 2010. "Dr. Bob", as he was known, earned an EdD from Rutgers and served as chairman of the Science Department upon his retirement.  Bob also served on the State of New Jersey Committee for Technology for Children (T4C) and as vice chairman of the Clifton Board of Education in the 1980s. A licensed electrician, Bob enjoyed sailing on Seneca Lake as well as stamp and coin collecting.

Beloved husband for 47 years of Gale Motaski-Perkowski. Devoted father of Robert S. Perkowski and his wife Jen of Landsville, PA, Thomas Perkowski and his late wife Margaret of Vernon, Roger Perkowski and his wife Karen of Scotrun, PA, and David Perkowski and his wife Penny of Pequannock. Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Marian Barry of North Huntington, PA. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Visiting Tuesday, Dec. 26, 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Wednesday Dec. 27, 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at Transfiguration of Our Lord PNC Church, Wallington. Cremation Private.
