Robert E. Spiegel, 85, of Passaic passed away on June 13, 2014. Born in New York City, Robert has lived in Passaic for most of his life. A parishioner of St. Nicholas RC Church, Passaic, Robert, was an Army Veteran during the Korean War, where he served two tours. Robert was a Salesman for Schnitzer & Company, later becoming a Realtor and was the owner of Synchris Realty in Passaic for 30 years, retiring several years ago. Robert was the 1st President of the Passaic County Board of Realtors, he was the Secretary of the Passaic Lions Club, was on the Board of Directors of both the Salvation Army and the Boys and Girls Club of Passaic, and was active in the Boys Scouts of America. Beloved son of the late Edward and Lillian (Gehraghty). Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. Visiting Thursday 3-6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, Funeral Service at 5:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
