SEELY, Robert E., 84, of Clifton, passed away on January 3, 2019. He was born in Clifton and was a lifelong resident of Clifton. A parishioner of the First Lutheran Church of Clifton, and a member of the Friends of Athenia Veterans at the Athenia Veteran's Post. Robert, or Bob as he was more commonly known, was a member of IUOE Local 825 for over 50 years.

He joins his beloved wife of 59 years, Lorraine, in Heaven. Devoted father and grandfather of Robert and his wife LeeAnn of Clifton, and their children Robert and Christopher, Valerie Davies and her husband Scott of Clifton, and their children Scott, Stephanie, and Steven, James of Vernon, and his children Brittany, Casey, and Christopher, and Kenneth and his wife Jo Ann of Pompton Plains, and their children Jaclynn and Ryan. Dear brother of Ernest Seely and his wife Marion of Morristown, Doris Johnson of Morristown, and John Harrington and his wife Roz of Little Falls, and predeceased by his brother, Edward Harrington, and sister, Lorraine Smith. Dear brother-in-law of Gloria and Joseph Bajek of Clifton.

Funeral Tuesday 8:45AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at First Lutheran Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to either the First Lutheran Church of Clifton's youth programs or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.StJude.org , in memory of Robert would be greatly appreciated.
