Robert A. Saabye, 68, of Lodi passed away on October 22, 2019. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Passaic and Stockholm before settling in Lodi. A proud US Army Veteran, Robert worked as a printer for Lawrence Packaging, Moonachie, before retiring in 1999. Robert was a die-hard NY Giants & NY Yankee, and loved muscle cars.

Devoted father of Melissa McDermott of Franklin, Deborah Furbeck of Clearwater, FL and Denise Medina of Seminole, FL. Cherished grandfather of 7 grandchildren. Loving brother of Joeffrey Saabye of Hasbrouck Heights and Patricia Griepenburg of Teaneck.

Funeral service Monday 11 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
