Robert Mekita, 60, of Clifton, passed away on July 8, 2022. Born in Passaic, Bob was a lifelong resident of Clifton, and had worked in Tech Support at Metal Cutting Corporation, Cedar Grove, for the past 27 years.

Beloved husband for 33 years of Heidi (Kleber) Mekita. Devoted father of Robert Mekita and his fiancée Jennifer of Clifton, and Kaitlynn Mekita of Bloomingdale. Loving son of Stephen R. Mekita of Clifton, and the late Judith (Anema) Mekita, who passed away in 2016. Dear brother of Stephen Mekita, Jr. and his wife Lesia of Greensboro, NC. Cherished brother-in-law of Linda Kleber of Cedar Grove. Dear uncle of Melissa, Kimberly, Stephen, III, and Gina.

Visiting Tuesday 5-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Prayer Service will begin at 7 PM. Cremation will be private.
