Robert W. "Bouka" Janiec, 71, of Clifton, passed away on October 31, 2012. Born in Clifton, he was a lifelong resident of Athenia. An Army Veteran during Peacetime, Bouka was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton. An avid hunter and fisherman, Bouka was a member and past president of the Garden State Sportsman Club. Bouka was a Truck Driver and Shop Steward for Teamster's Local # 560, Union City, for 25 years, retiring in 2003. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Sawyer). Devoted father of Paul R. Janiec and his wife Kerri, and Elizabeth Joyce and her husband William, all of Ringwood. Loving grandfather of Jonathan, Abigail, Paul, Jr., and Jacklyn. Dear brother of the late Helen, Frank and John. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. Funeral Thursday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Cremation, Private.
