Robert A. Hruby, 87, of Milford, PA, formerly of Fairfield, NJ, passed away on August 8, 2026.

 Born in Bloomfield, he lived in Fairfield for 42 years before moving to Milford in 2025. A Proud U.S. Army Veteran, Bob was a Senior Chemical Operator for Hoffmann-LaRoche in Nutley, where he worked for 32 years, retiring in 1994. For many years, Bob was an active member of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church, Clifton.

Beloved husband of Carol (Jarvis) Hruby. Devoted father of Barry Hruby and his wife Herminia. Dear brother of the late John Eugene Hruby and the late Joanne M. D'Arienzo. Loving uncle to several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visiting Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 1-5 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, Parastas will begin at 4 PM. Interment and Presentation of Military Honors, Thursday, August 13, 2026, 1 PM at Pleasant View Cemetery, Pleasant Mount, PA.
