Rita A. (Slater) Priff, 73, of Elmwood Park, passed away on September 13, 2015. Born in Warren, PA, she lived in Fair Lawn and has been and resident of Elmwood Park most of her life. A parishioner of St. Anne's RC Church, Fair Lawn, Rita was an Administrative Assistant for Canger Engineering and Surveyors in Fair Lawn for many years. Rita enjoyed Bingo, taking care of and loving her family, and spoiling her grandchildren. Beloved wife for 52 years of Donald. Devoted mother of Donald and his wife Lisa of Butler, Bonnie Sue Semsey and her husband Jeffrey of Myrtle Beach, SC, Barbara Ann Wall and her husband Michael of Pequannock, and John and his wife Michelle of Chula Vista, CA. Loving grandmother of Shannon, Lindsey, Nicholas and Ryan. Dear sister of Patricia Jennings and her late husband Dr. Rufus Jennings, Thomas Slater and his wife Terry, William Slater and his wife Margaret, Sandra Jacobsen and her husband Jake, David Slater, and the late Paul Slater and his wife Barbara. Funeral Friday 9:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11 AM at St. Anne's RC Church, Fair Lawn. Interment, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
