Rita (Nicklus) Magana, 73, of Garfield passed away on October 25, 2015. Rita, a homemaker, was born in Passaic and was a lifelong resident of Garfield. Beloved wife for 30 years of Francisco. Devoted mother of Shirley Nicklus of Garfield, Charles Perez of Clifton, Lisa Garzon of Atlantic City, Michelle Perez of Garfield, Michael Perez of Montclair, Rafael Henriquez of Tampa, FL, Veronica Magana of Garfield, and the late Ismael Perez. Loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and one great grandchild expected Jan. 23, 2016. Dear sister of Charles and Joseph Nicklus, Jr., both of Garfield. Visiting Tuesday 5-9 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Family and friends will gather Wednesday 9 AM at the funeral home for a prayer service, followed by interment in St. Peter's Greek Catholic Cemetery, Garfield.
