Mr. Frederick (Rick) W. Maggio, 65, of Montville, passed away on Tuesday March 3, 2020. Born in Montclair, Rick lived in Hartford, CT where he received his MBA from the University of Hartford before settling in Kinnelon and most recently, Montville. Rick's sense of humor brightened the lives of everyone around him, he loved bringing joy to others through his generosity. Starting with AT&T Bell Laboratories, he built his career as a corporate technical security professional and for the last 20 years, worked with Citigroup where he culminated as a Senior Vice President and their Senior Lead Analyst of Risk & Control.

He leaves behind his two loving daughters, Samantha Anne Maggio and Lindsey Minett along with his beloved and only grandson, his life partner Charlene Sperger, and previous spouse Pamela Maggio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edythe and Carmen J. Maggio of Clifton who both owned Rowe-Manse Emporium. Rick's generous spirit, companionship, and cooking will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was always seeking new experiences and surely left this world without regrets.

Memorial gathering Saturday 12 - 4 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
