Richard J. Wojcik's Obituary
Richard J. Wojcik, 91, of Clifton, passed away on February 4, 2017. Born in Warsaw, Poland, he came to the US in 1949 and lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton.
A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Richard was a Chemical Operator for Givaudan in Clifton for many years, retiring in 1995. A Polish Army Veteran during WW II, Richard was a member of the Polish Youth Association and Cracovia Club, Wallington.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Fic). Devoted father of Richard D. and his wife Julie of Toms River, the late George and his wife Marilyn of Clifton, Magdalena Rowan and her husband John of Essex Fells, and Carl and his wife Katia of Clifton. Loving grandfather of Daniel, Stefanie, Janina, Christy, Leila, Connor, Joseph and Jason. Dear brother of Janina Kalinowski of Warsaw.
Funeral Wednesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105, www.StJude.org, in memory of Richard, would be greatly appreciated.
