Richard "Dick" Wieczezak, 69, of Wallington died peacefully on July 15, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Passaic, Dick was in the Army Reserves and worked as a Director of Mergers & Acquisitions for Knapp Communication Corp., NY. Dick was also an Actor who was known to the acting community as "Dick Henley" and was a member of the Screen Actors Guild & AFTRA. He was a member of the YMCA of Passaic-Clifton before joining the Montclair YMCA. An all-around athlete, Dick's main passions were skiing and baseball. Dick was inducted into the Wallington HS Hall of Fame for baseball, basketball & football and into the Seton Hall Hall of Fame for baseball. During his time at Seton Hall, Dick was voted onto the All American College Baseball team and played in the College World Series. He also played baseball for the Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Pirates organizations. Later, Dick played baseball for three decades in the Metropolitan Baseball League in Bergen County. Beloved brother of Robert of Wallington and John and his wife Doris of Fairfield. Cherished uncle of Lori Wieczezak and Karin Jaworski and her husband Anthony and great uncle of Zakary, Dean and Marlee. Funeral Friday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 10 AM at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church, Wallington. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
