Richard J. Wess, 66, of Clifton passed away on February 27, 2023. Born in Passaic, He was a resident of Clifton for most of his life. Richard worked as an auto mechanic for Ford Lincoln Mercury, Wayne, for many years. Later in his life Richard worked as a dog trainer for PetCo.

Devoted father of Johnathan R. Wess and his wife Stacy and Christopher S. Wess and his wife Jessica both of Hopatcong. Beloved fiancé of Doreen Steup. Richard will be greatly missed by his furry companions Emma, Harley, Bandit and Jax.

Funeral Arrangements were private under the direction of Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
