Richard Rebisz, 73, of Clifton passed away January 17, 2011. Born in Poland, he came to the United States in 1949 and settled in Mississippi. Richard later lived in Saddle Brook before settling in Clifton in 1971.

A parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, Passaic, Richard was a supervisor for Manhattan Products in Carlstadt for 19 years before retiring in 1998.

Beloved husband of Bronislawa (Maciag). Devoted father of Barbara Geiger and her husband Brett of Roseland, Alexandra Sproul and her husband Mark of Brielle, and Margaret Koutsouris and her husband John of Bloomfield. Dear brother of Tony of Saddle Brook, Emilia Rykowski of Clifton, Edward of TX, Stefa Graczyk of Canada, Jacqueline and Genia Rebisz, both of PA, and the late Sophie Klusik and Teddy. Loving grandfather of Julia, Abby, Lauren, Allison, Michael and Lukas.

Funeral Thursday, 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at St. Joseph's Church. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
