Richard Brodsky, 73, of Clifton passed away on March 25, 2017. Born in Passaic he lived in Clifton all of his life.

A parishioner of Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church, Clifton, Richard was a Sargent in the US Army and served in Heidelberg, Germany. A 1961 graduate of Clifton High School, Richard was the Owner/Operator of Clifton Fluid Power Machinery, Inc. of Clifton.

Beloved son of the late Michael, Sr. and Mary (Boyko) Brodsky. Loving brother of Leonard Brodsky and his wife Eileen of Bloomingburg, NY, Dr. James Brodsky of Clifton and the Late Michael, Jr. Cherished uncle of Patricia Ann Brodsky, Jacqueline Brodsky Arias and her husband Andrew and Leonard Brodsky, II, and his wife Jenny. Also survived by several grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral Wednesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Tuesday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
