Raymond C. Sanicki, "Rock", 75 of Clifton, passed away on July 28, 2025. Born in Paterson, he was a lifelong resident of Clifton. A proud US Army Veteran during the Vietnam War, Rock was a Recipient of the Purple Heart, a Bronze Star, the Army Commendation Medal, and was the Past Commander of Albion VFW Post #7165, Clifton. Rock was a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Clifton DPW for 30 years, retiring in 2015.

Beloved husband of the late Michele (Umhoefer) Sanicki, who passed away in 2022. Devoted father of Raymond C. Sanicki, Jr., and his wife Kimberly, and Jennifer Clementi and her husband David. Loving grandfather "Pop Rock" of Shane, Sawyer and Isabella. Dear brother of Carol and David.

Visiting Tuesday, August 5, 2025, 3-7 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Prayer Service will begin at 6:30 PM, followed by the Presentation of Military Honors. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Albion VFW Post #7165, 491 Valley Rd., Clifton, NJ 07013, in memory of Rock, would be greatly appreciated.
