Raymond C. Kochik, 78, of Passaic passed away on April 2, 2011. Born in Garfield, Ray lived in Passaic for all of his life.

An active member of St. Clares RC Church, Clifton, he was a veteran of the US Air Force and served in the Korean War. Ray worked as a computer operator for Beckman in Cedar Grove for 20 years before retiring in 1994, and had also worked for Raybestos-Manhattan Rubber Co., Inc., in Passaic for many years.

Beloved husband of Dorothy (Rehwald) for 57 years. Devoted father of Marge Nycz and her husband John of Clifton, Joan Maskal and her former husband John of East Rutherford, Kathy DAmato and her husband Andy of Clifton. Cherished grandfather of Steve and his wife Andrea, Lauren, Kimberly, Jonathan, Andrew and Anthony. Dear brother of Joseph of Oakland. Dear brother-in-law of Wilbert and Barbara Rehwald of Mechanicsburg, IL and loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.
