Raymond Babicz, 95, of Clifton, passed away on September 30, 2012. Born in Hackettstown, he lived in Brooklyn before moving to Clifton many years ago. A parishioner of St. Phillip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Raymond was a Supervisor in the Shipping Department of Leslie Co. in Parsippany, where he worked for 43 years, retiring in 1980. An Army Air Corp Veteran during WW II, Raymond a Disabled Veteran, was a Charter Member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton. Beloved husband for 71 years of Rose Ann (Mitchell). Devoted father of Marlene L. Dolak and her husband George of Preston, NY, and Raymond Babicz and his wife Jill of Cedar Grove. Dear brother of Jane Tomasini of Clifton, the late Anthony and Walter Babicz and Emily "Millie" Newland. Loving grandfather of Scott George, Marlene Martha, Jeffrey Michael and Kristie Lee Dolak, Jonathan Leslie Babicz and his wife Jen, Jillian Starr Babicz and Danielle Jillian Jacob and her husband Gary. Cherished great grandfather of Hailey Martha, Blake Alfred and Evan George Dolak, Ryder Chase Cederberg, Savannah Marie and Cheyenne Lyn Haskell, and Chloe Alexis Jacob. Funeral Thursday 9:15 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10:30 AM at St. Phillip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton.
