Radame (Rod) Montalvo, 77, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on August 14, 2018. Born December 17, 1940 in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico to Armando Montalvo & Carmen Nazario. Rod was raised in New York where he attended Brooklyn Technical High School. He lived in Puerto Rico, New York, New Jersey, Texas as well as Lake Worth Florida and finally settling down in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Rod worked at AT&T for nearly 40 years as an Engineer and Manager.

Beloved husband to Irma Montalvo for over 40 years. Devoted father of children James Montalvo, Robert Montalvo and daughter Mandy Deese. Stepfather of Steve SanAntonio and Adriene Flynn. Loving grandfather of Christina Montalvo, Ethan Montalvo, Christian Flynn, Ryan Flynn, Emma SanAntonio, Cameron SanAntonio, Luna Deese, Dawn Deese, Christopher Montalvo, Michael Montalvo, Justine Montalvo, Ali Montalvo and Philip Montalvo. Brother to Alida Montalvo, Sandy LaSaracina, John Montalvo (deceased). Rod is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rod was an avid tennis player and member of Knights of Columbus.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial on Thursday, August 16th from 4-6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave, Clifton, prayer service will begins at 5:30 PM
