Punambhai Shanabhai Patel, 90, of Elmwood Park passed away on October 13, 2025. Born in Kavitha, Gujarat, India, he came to the US in the early 90s and settled in Hoffman Estates, Illinois before moving to Elmwood Park, New Jersey.

Beloved husband of the Late Madhuben Patel. Devoted Father of the Late Mahendrabhai Patel, Ritaben Patel, and Alpeshbhai Patel. Cherished grandfather of Deepan, Anjali, Mansi, and Radhika.

Visitation and Puja service will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 9:30-11AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Ave., Clifton NJ 07014.
