Prasad Bhalinge, 43, of Clifton, NJ passed away on December 27, 2022.

Born in Mumbai, India, Prasad spent his early years in Mumbai before moving to the United States in 2007. He completed his Masters in Civil Engineering from NJIT, and enjoyed traveling for his work and to meet family. He was a caring soul who made several friends and brought excitement everywhere he went. His laughter filled the room and his never ending kindness and passion to help others touched the hearts of many. He loved animals and adventure, including hiking and playing the dhol.

His family loved him more than life and cherished his happy going spirit. He is survived by his mother Vaishali Bhalinge, sister Vaishnavi Sawant, and brother-in-law Ajay Sawant. Loving uncle to niece Megan Sawant, nephew Neel Sawant, and sweet goldendoodle Zoe.

Funeral service will be held from 9 AM to 11 AM on Tuesday, January 3rd at Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave. Clifton, NJ 07013. Cremation will follow shortly after at 11:30 AM at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Ave. Clifton, NJ 07014.
