Prabhudas Muljibhai Patel, 91, of Rutherford passed away on July 16, 2026. Born in Sunderpura, Gujarat, India, he came to the US in 1996 and settled in Rutherford. He was a professor for many years in Anand, Gujarat, India.

Beloved husband of the late Savitaben Patel. Devoted father of Minaxi Bharat Patel, Vilasben Yogendra Patel, Shashikant Prabhudas Patel, and Bhavana Rajesh Patel. Cherished grandfather of Vikshina, Jatin, Roshni, Yash, Khushi, Kishori, Riddhi, Siddhi, Brijesh, Aaisha, Ajay, and Akshay. Dear great-grandfather of Meer, Nia, Maya, Zayn, Myra, Zayon, Tirth, Dhruv, Omkar, Janki, Janvi, Sharva, Tatva, Misha.

Visiting and Puja service will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026 from 9-11am at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Ave., Clifton.
