Philip Lipari, 85, of Clifton on July 9, 2009. A lifelong resident of Clifton, he was the owner of Phil's Decorators in Clifton for many years, retiring in 1965, and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic. A Marine Corp Veteran of WW II, he was a member of the VFW Post # 6487 of Clifton. Beloved husband for 59 years of Antoinette (Lipari). Devoted father of Joann McGuire and her husband Joseph, and Susan Lipari and her fiance Padro Soto, all of Clifton. Dear brother of the late James, Margaret Portelli, and Mary Catalano-Zangara. Funeral Monday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic. Interment, St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
