Philip F. Ciminello, 84 of Whiting passed away on September 21, 2011. Born in Garfield, he lived in Passaic, Paterson, and Clifton for 20 years before moving to Whiting in 2004. A former parishioner of Out Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic, Philip enjoyed gardening and music, especially Frank Sinatra. An Army Veteran of the Korean War, Philip was the Owner of ABC Sewer & Drain in Clifton for over 20 years and was a member of the Teamster's Union Local #508, Secaucus. Beloved husband for 58 years of Angelina (Ruggiero). Devoted father of Phyllis Oliver of Clifton, and the late David P. who died in 2002. Dear brother of Jack of Fort Myers, FL. Loving grandfather of Eric Oliver and his wife Rosemary, and Rachael Lardiere and her husband Tom. Cherished great grandfather of Eric, Michael, Joey, Kennedy, Sophia, Shiloh, Larkin, Miles, Jake and Tommy. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Sunday 4:30 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Visiting Sunday 2-5 PM. Cremation Private.
